Mayor Kevin Jeppsen
Perry City, Utah
Mayor Kevin G Jeppsen is a lifelong resident of Box Elder County living in Brigham City most of his life.
He and his wife Jill found Perry’s rural setting most favorable and moved here in 2014. They enjoy the ‘small town’ feel of the area and the sense of community in Perry.
Mayor Jeppsen is in the beginning of his second term and views his office as a great opportunity to serve the community and focus on preserving these qualities, while giving attention to repairing/maintaining the city infrastructure and preparing for future development.
Mayor Jeppsen previously enjoyed a long professional career in manufacturing management focused on team building, problem solving, conflict resolution, contract negotiation, project management, meeting budget constraints and forecasts with an emphasis on continuous improvement, and cost savings. He developed successful relationships with vendors and contractors across the US and Canada which resulted in substantial cost savings and value-added support.
He has been involved in public land use initiatives working with federal, state, county and city agencies to develop and implement land use and travel plans.
He attended Weber State University.
He and his wife have three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys 4 wheeling, dual sport cycling, long range sporting use of the .50 BMG, being with family and life in general.
